Active Fibers

Aktif fiberlerimiz, iterbiyum, erbiyum veya erbiyum-itterbiyum ko-katkılı gibi çeşitli katkı maddeleriyle sunulmaktadır. Optik amplifikatörler (EDFA) ve LIDAR dahil olmak üzere çeşitli uygulamalarda kullanılan fiber lazerler için ihtiyaç duyduğunuz performansı karşılamak üzere özel olarak tasarlanmıştır.

Passive Fibers

Coractive, aktif fiber ürünlerimiz ve endüstri standardı aktif fiberlerin çoğuyla uyumlu olacak şekilde tasarlanmış ve üretilmiş eksiksiz bir pasif fiber serisi sunar. Pasif fiberler çoğunlukla fiber lazerler ve amplifikatör bileşenleri, ışın iletim uygulamaları ve telekomünikasyon ağ cihazlarında kullanılır.

Yb Fibers – True Phosphosilicate

  • for high-power fiber lasers and amplifiers
  • optimal performance and batch-to-batch consistency
  • superior resistance to photodarkening
  • less sensitive to the spectral fluctuations of the pump diodes, allowing 975 nm pumping

Single-clad passive fibers

  • used to match with a double-clad active fiber when quasi-single-mode operation is required
  • tailored to provide optimal matching and minimal splice losses between active and passive fibers.
  • offer perfect pairing with Coractive SCF or DCF gain active fiber core size and NA or MFD

Yb Fibers – Others

Coractive offers a selection of Yb-doped single-clad fibers as the different parameters can affect the desired amplification: wavelength emission, ASE and power threshold, nonlinear effect threshold. Moreover, these fibers have high resistance to photodarkening which enables excellent stability over time.

Polarization-maintaining fibers

Polarization-maintaining (PM) fibers rely on the fact that an intentional birefringence introduced in the fiber will maintain two polarization modes that propagate along the fiber distinctly. In order to transmit this polarized light, a passive fiber with the same PM properties is needed.

Coractive develops a wide range of passive PM fibers that match their active fiber in order to minimize losses caused by mismatching.

Er/Yb Fibers

  • for operation around 1550 nm
  • high peak power and excellent beam quality
  • from a few milliwatts to tens of watts with peak powers up to 10s of kilowatts and energy at the millijoule level.
  • sensing, telecommunication and medical applications.

Beam Delivery Fibers

  • used in industrial laser systems
  • superior flexibility and robustness
  • Standards used in the material industry for high-power fiber lasers are 50 µm and 100 µm core diameters.

Er fibers

  • for operation around 1550 nm
  • tremendous increase in transmission bandwidth
  • used to design erbium-doped optical amplifiers (EDFA) for telecommunication in the C and L band
  • sensing applications such as LiDAR and wind sensing.
  • high absorption polarization-maintaining fibers used as gain fiber in single frequency lasers and pulsed lasers.

Attenuation Fibers

  • designed to provide flat attenuation over the widest wavelength range possible
  • Wideband uniform attenuation ensures complete compatibility with current and future DWDM, CATV and other telecom systems.

PM fibers

  • developed to maintain linear polarization of the light propagating through the fiber.
  • excellent properties such as high birefringence and great polarization maintenance.
  • high QCE values minimizing the fiber length and thus reducing nonlinear effects.
  • ideal for the design of ultrafast fiber lasers used in various industrial and medical (spectroscopy, imaging) applications.

Photosensitive fibers

  • designed to meet the photosensitivity requirements for the manufacturing of Bragg gratings and dispersion compensators used in DWDM for telecommunications.
  • engineered to write Bragg gratings without the cladding modes in the shorter wavelength range.
  • tight photosensitivity balance in both the cladding and core of the fiber.
     

Nonlinear Fiber Optics

  • developed in order to utilize these nonlinearities in emerging applications such as broadband light sources, optical processing, sensors and spectroscopy.
  • low splice loss to standard single-mode fibers.
